Such a sad, sad man.
He has my heartfelt sympathy; just like my poor deluded schizophrenic neighbour.
I’d love to be able to help out, but I fear that Howard’s condition has progressed beyond any reasonable hope of recovery.

and Howard has today taken credit for the Govt’s cash payment to pensioners (whilst neglecting to mention the other low income groups that will benefit)

I think it could be argued that politicians should meet all the press : the good , the bad and the Howard Sattlers at least once during an election campaign.Of course Rattler in his usual manner did not argue his case but just ranted.

of course pollies choose who they wish to be interviewed by – and they usually choose those that:

a. command the biggest audience in their target demographic
and only then:
b. offer at least some pretence to journalistic objectivity.

Sattler has neither an audience or any credibility.

How many times did Howard go on Alan Jones?
how many times did Rudd?

That is a good question , Rolly. . but I think he can’t be ignored because he occupies a slice of media space which he really shouldn’t.In this particular article he does raise one important issue which he doesn’t debate in any sensible manner and that is the right of politicians to pick and choose who they will be interviewed by.

And the ads for this afternoon’s show concentrate on the Extend Hours policy – He calls them a Backflip.

But really it’s a commonsense approach – it’s not perfect, but it’s a start. It keeps John Cummins onside and even Gerry Harvey with the Furniture and Whitegoods stores being allowed to open on Sunday.

At least the ALP have a Policy – The Libs will only consider it.

Sattler’s blog today is hilarious – apparently Carpenter lifted his blacklist on 6PR and went on the Drive program – on a day that Sattler was absent.

Sattler is livid – and has gone on the offensive over Albany hospital and free travel for seniors – but since he supports the policies, he has had to talk about backflips
