Hat tip to Skink for his piece of Sattler Alert. Reader’s digest version so you don’t waste 30 seconds of your life.
” Mr Carpenter flipped in favour of the [ pensioner public transport] concession…………….
He did it again. [in favour of a hospital in Albany]
……..[ rant about Carps avoiding Sattler deleted]……….
The Premier has lost touch with his professional origins – journalism.
[ WTF he is a journalist for ever : this piece of logic is truly bizarre, even worse is yet to come in the next para]
He might have been an average performer, but the tenets of investigative reporting require practitioners to operate without fear or favour and in the political arena, to hold governments accountable for their actions.
If they err it is our, and in this case my, job to expose them.
During his transformation from media to politics Mr Carpenter has ditched that principle, a point worth considering if the electorate gives him the chance to fulfil his campaign promises.”
This is truly being savaged by a deranged sheep , and Rattler if you want to see a tough interview with Carps see any of his interviews with Rebecca Carmody.

And the ads for this afternoon’s show concentrate on the Extend Hours policy – He calls them a Backflip.
But really it’s a commonsense approach – it’s not perfect, but it’s a start. It keeps John Cummins onside and even Gerry Harvey with the Furniture and Whitegoods stores being allowed to open on Sunday.
At least the ALP have a Policy – The Libs will only consider it.

I can’t fathom why any of you guys and/or gals bother to read the demented twat. (Unless it’s out of a deeply ingrained masochistic tendency.)

That is a good question , Rolly. . but I think he can’t be ignored because he occupies a slice of media space which he really shouldn’t.In this particular article he does raise one important issue which he doesn’t debate in any sensible manner and that is the right of politicians to pick and choose who they will be interviewed by.

of course pollies choose who they wish to be interviewed by – and they usually choose those that:
a. command the biggest audience in their target demographic
and only then:
b. offer at least some pretence to journalistic objectivity.
Sattler has neither an audience or any credibility.
How many times did Howard go on Alan Jones?
how many times did Rudd?

I think it could be argued that politicians should meet all the press : the good , the bad and the Howard Sattlers at least once during an election campaign.Of course Rattler in his usual manner did not argue his case but just ranted.
